Dr Chaithan Reddy, a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), is an internationally recognised reconstructive surgeon who has performed hundreds of rhinoplasty and septoplasty procedures. Using tailored techniques, he is able to provide each of his patients with a personalised surgical experience that includes a detailed post-operative treatment plan.

Dr Reddy works with patients who are either unhappy with the appearance of their nose or are struggling with breathing difficulties due to a deformity. To access the internal structures of the nose, the nasal skin is gently lifted. During the procedure, the nasal bones might be repositioned or the cartilage might be reshaped to achieve the desired outcome. Additional adjustments might be required if breathing difficulties are present. The tip of the nose, as well as the nasal bridge, sidewalls and nostril rims, can all be adjusted during surgery.

While patients can see a noticeable difference two to three weeks after surgery, the final results of your surgery will be clearly visible after a year. It’s essential to wait for any swelling to subside before deciding whether you are happy with the results of your procedure.
